Tesuque Vista Residence
Located in the rolling foothills just North of Santa Fe; this 2,900 SF home nestles in to harmonize with its surroundings but nonetheless takes advantage of the expansive and breathtaking views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
Energy efficiency and quality design were important for the owners and they participated throughout the process and are delighted with their beautiful Net Zero Energy home! The energy efficiency features include a well-insulated building envelope, geothermal heating and a photovoltaic array.
Architecturally, the home blends the traditional New Mexico aesthetic with a contemporary floor plan. The home has handcrafted woodwork and artistic details inside and out – much of it made from blue ponderosa pines that were custom-milled for the great room ceiling and kitchen island. Trees harvested from the site during construction were crafted into a design element for the entry ramada.
